The Three Points of Membership: the "Non-Creed" of the Jeffersonian Church

We hold no belief as so sacred that it cannot and should not be questioned. We do however have three simple points that we count as evidence of membership in our organization/ fraternity.
  1. Understanding: As self professed members of the Jeffersonian Church, we assert that we have studied and developed a reasonable understanding of Thomas Jefferson's teachings on man, God, and the proper position of the State with respect to both.

  2. Agreement: As self professed members of the Jefrersonian Church, we assert that we find ourselves to be in general agreement with the teachings of Thomas Jefferson on the proper relationship between man, God, and the proper position of the State with respect to both.

  3. Willingness to share these teachings: As self professed members of the Jeffersonian Church, we agree to be the ambassadors of the teachings of Thomas Jefferson, ready and willing to clearly and honestly explain the teachings of Thomas Jefferson regarding God, religion, man, and the State, and the proper relationship between all four.
